Overview

InGOT is a system for controlling and reporting individuals use of the Internet.

Version 4.2 - Read here to find out what's new and how to download it.

Control
As users browse the web inGOT will calculate their traffic usage, based on pre-configured megabyte charges, and deduct this amount from their Internet "account".  When their account drops below zero, inGOT can be configured to immediately block their Internet access.  When funds are added to their account, giving them a positive balance, their Internet access is then restored.

Reporting
InGOT holds detailed information about each users Internet usage, including sites visited and bytes downloaded.  A number of pre-configured reports are available to report on individual or group Internet usage.   As this information is stored in a either an MS-Access 97/2000 or MS-SQL database new specific reports can be produced by anyone with MS-Access report writing skills. Proven System
InGOT is now into its fourth iteration and has been proven to be a useful addition to the Internet security strategy of many Australasian organisations.  InGOT is currently used in over half the NZ Polytechnics and many NZ and Australian secondary schools.
