executables. If you are an existing inGOT v3.x customer
wanting to upgrade to v4.2 or have never installed

Engine Upgrade Instructions:
- Download appropriate
inGOT Engine (inGOTEngine_xx.EXE)
- Stop inGOT
Engine (via inGOT Control 'Tools' menu)
- Shut-down inGOT
Control
- Delete existing
inGOTEngine_xx.EXE from application folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\inGOT4\)
- Copy new inGOTEngine_xx.EXE
to application folder
- Rename existing
inGOTEngine.EXE file to inGOTEngineOld.EXE
- Copy inGOTEngine_xx.EXE
to inGOTEngine.EXE (e.g. COPY INGOTENGINE_BM.EXE INGOTENGINE.EXE)
- Two identical EXE
files should now reside in the application folder. One called
inGOTEngine.EXE and the other called inGOTEngine_xx.EXE)
- Restart inGOT
Control
- Restart inGOT
Engine (via inGOT Control 'Tools' menu)
- Check via Event
Display that the latest version of inGOT Engine has started
inGOT v4.2 Control Upgrade Instructions:
- Shut-down inGOT Control (inGOT Engine can be keeped running)
- Rename existing inGOT.EXE file to inGOTOld.EXE (or inGOTvx.x.EXE)
- Download inGOT Control, storing it in the existing inGOT application folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\inGOT4\)
- Restart inGOT.
- Check via Help/About that the latest version of inGOT is displayed.

Please note:
- Upgrading from
v3.x to v4.2 will require a full installation.
- Upgrading from
v3.x to v3.5 can be achieved simply by replacing the inGOT.EXE
file.
- Upgrading from
v1.x or v2.x will also require a full installation. Please see
the download
page for details.
- If you are currently
using a version of inGOT prior to v3.5 you will need
an Activation Key to run the full version of v3.5 . Please contact
us at
for your Activation Key. (You will need to supply name of the
machine on which inGOT is running).
