Memory violation error when installing the Netware version of inGOT v3.x

Information in this article applies to:

- inGOT v3.x
- Netware version only
- New installations of inGOT only

SYMPTOMS

When running Setup to initially install inGOT a 'Memory Violation' error occurs and installation aborts. The inGOT installation process does not complete successfully.

CAUSE

This issue is caused by setup attempting to self register the NWDIR.OCX Netware ActiveX component.

RESOLUTION

Option 1
1. Download the latest version of the SETUP.LST file.
2. Replace the existing SETUP.LST file in the installation pack
3. Re-run inGOT setup.

Option 2
1. Download the latest version of the inGOT evaluation pack.
2. Re-run inGOT setup.
